The mission of this OFNC committee is to reduce bird mortality from window collisions through research, prevention, and rescue. Safe Wings maintains a database of window collisions; collects specimens of birds killed by glass; provides information on preventing window collisions; offers advice and assistance with rescues; and provides short-term care for injured birds of all types.
