The closest O-Train stop is at Carleton University. From there, walk toward the Rideau Canal, cross the canal at Hartwell’s Locks and veer right up the hill to enter the FWG at its southeast corner. Buses 7 and 10 also go into Carleton University.
From downtown, take the Queen Elizabeth Driveway on the west side of the Rideau Canal. After skirting Dow’s Lake, the road becomes Prince of Wales Drive. Continue on this road around the traffic circle in the Central Experimental Farm. As you head south, watch for the billboard-style sign with our heron logo. It will be on your left.
