Watercolour Mushroom Paintings of Beatrix Potter and H.A.C. Jackson

Since it is not seasonal to go out into the woods for mushrooms, we will look at the mushroom paintings of Beatrix Potter and H.A.C. Jackson.  Before her successful career as a children’s author Beatrix Potter developed an interest in fungi and even did some research. H.A.C. Jackson was the brother of Group of Seven artist, A.Y. Jackson.  He was a commercial artist and avid naturalist with a passion for fungi. There will also be time for short question and discussion session on identifying fungi.
