Leader: Jessica Forrest, professor at Ottawa U and bee researcher (see Forrest Lab)
Location: Fletcher Wildlife Garden – how to get there

What is (and isn’t) a bee? What is pollination? How diverse are wild bees, and how do they live their lives? Which wild bees have we observed? Are bees struggling? What can we do to help them? We will explore these questions, and others, in the first part of this interactive session offered in collaboration with the Wild Pollinator Partners network. In the second part, we will head out into the gardens to observe wild bees in action.
