26 Mar 2020 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Location: Museum of Nature, 240 McLeod Street.

Safe Wings Ottawa will present a poignant display of bird specimens collected in 2019, all of which fell victim to window collisions, and which represent only a fraction of the scope of this problem.

This year will also see the launching of the Ottawa Bird Strategy in partnership with Birds Canada, Nature Canada, the Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Center and the OFNC. If you are not familiar with it, the strategy recommends best practices for addressing threats to birds and ways of integrating bird-friendly designs into the city, serving as a reference for local officials, policy makers, developers and Ottawa residents.

All ages are welcome to the event which is free.
