Ottawa/Hull Mid Fall Bird Count Year 2000

The Mid Fall Bird Count is sponsored annually by The Ottawa Field-Naturalists’ Club and Club des Ornithologues de L’Outaouais. The count spans 24 hours over a 2 day period and covers the area within a 50-km radius of the Peace Tower.

This year, the event was held between 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 21st and 3:00 pm Sunday, October 22nd. A luncheon and compilation was held late Sunday afternoon at the Fletcher Wildlife Garden. The weather was perfect and fun was had by all.
